          The firm is managed and technically directed by the present owners, the brother Alejandro and Carlos López-Obrero and her wife Rafaela Carmona, who together with other specialist craftsmen working under their direction continue the vigorous,uninterrupted work of their parents, Angel and Mercedes López-Obrero,who founded the firm in 1952 . Their work began as a private venturein their own home and then, publicity, in the Municipal Craft Museum, - El Zoco- in the Jewish Quarter. Later , in about 1957, the shop and work-shop were installed in Number 2, La Calleja de las flores. 

         During these years the two completed their artistic formation working in the workshop and attending classes at the Cordoba School of Arts and Crafts. 
 
       The workshop produces artistic objects designed for many different uses, in a considerable number of models and sizes, all sold exclusively in the shop located at Number 2. La Calleja de las Flores and Number 12 , La Calle Encarnacion.


       The products include decorative panels, heraldic coats of arms or genealogical trees, frames for mirror, ornamental hangings, chairs and armchairs, professional emblems, jewellery caskets, national and municipal coats of arms, screens, book-covers, large chests, pouffes, tobacco-boxes,tables,pots for pencil , mulechairs, maps and bed head boards. In addition to these standard articles the craftsman also undertakes special work such as the restoration of deteriorated leather items, plaques for tributes or business celebrations and similar thing.
